Helibiz was launched by Des & Karyn Davey (founders of Helireef in 1993) who decided to expand the helicopter sales business at Whitsunday Airport taking into account the natural beauty of the Whitsunday’s as a draw card for flight demonstration flights & training. “Geographically we are the only helicopter training school between Cairns and the Sunshine Coast”, which is a big plus for the local region and all those considering training as a pilot, both private and commercial. Helibiz literally look off then and has never looked back. Helibiz has been an Australian ROBINSON Distributor since 1997 and has expanded their Robinson Dealership to include engineering service centres, commercial and private helicopter training schools, helicopter display showroom and pilot supplies and accessories, together with a large Robinson parts centre, located at both their Gold Coast and Whitsunday facilities.

We have qualified Gr 1 and Gr 2 flying instructors ready to guide you through your training, highly respected Engineers and our office staff are there for your every need.
